The Benefits of Using CBD Oil

Attitudes towards CBD have been changing dramatically in recent years, and we predict that they will continue to do so as more and more people lose their misconceptions and realise the many benefits of this wonderful natural medicine. It is commonly thought that CBD oil will give you a ‘high’ or that it is addictive, which we can confidently say is not the case, and there has now been sufficient scientific research into CBD oil that we are able to share a list of its many benefits with you.

What is CBD Oil?

Cannabidiol, better known as CBD, is a chemical that naturally occurs in cannabis plants such as marijuana and hemp. This chemical is isolated and extracted from plant and then diluted to varying degrees with a carrier oil, which will commonly be coconut oil or hemp oil. It can also be used in a CBD vape pen UK. The dosage of CBD oil is expressed by the number of micrograms of CBD contained in the bottle or per serving. You can’t overdose on CBD, so keeping track of how much you need to alleviate your problems is more a case of not being wasteful with this precious natural medicine. But why is CBD oil so incredibly popular?

The Proven Benefits of CBD Oil

It has been found that cannabis has been used as a natural pain relief for around 5,000 years. More recently, scientific studies have proven CBD to be the chemical responsible for pain alleviation. In the treatment of chronic pain, CBD works by impacting activity in your body’s endocannabinoid receptors are responsible for managing inflammation and pain, so CBD oil for pain relief is now common.

CBD is also able to increase levels of serotonin, a neurotransmitter which contributes to feelings of wellbeing, happiness and confidence. Studies have shown that CBD oil is effective in the management of stress and anxiety disorders, as well as related sleep issues.

In cancer patients receiving chemotherapy, CBD oil has been proven to reduce pain, nausea and vomiting. Test-tube studies have also found CBD to kill human breast cancer cells, so there is a possibility that it may also have anticarcinogenic properties as well.

Other Potential Benefits

As research into the potential benefits of CBD oil is still underway, there are several other potential benefits that you may experience from taking CBD oil. Here are just a few of them:

  • CBD oil may reduce acne by reducing inflammation and sebum (oil) production. Painful skin conditions may be treated with a CBD pain relief cream UK.
  • It can be used to treat neurological disorders such as Epilepsy and Multiple Sclerosis
  • CBD oil may lower blood pressure and treat heart conditions
  • It may reduce psychotic symptoms in people with mental health disorders
  • It could be used in addiction treatment, as it has shown to reduce morphine and heroin addiction in rats
  • CBD oil may alleviate symptoms of glaucoma, an eye condition that leads to sight losscdb temp+ mct oil

And Most Importantly...

CBD oil is not psychoactive – it will not give you the ‘high’ associated with cannabis. The intoxicating effects of cannabis come from a different chemical, tetrahydrocannabinol, also known as THC. This means that you are able to carry on with your everyday activities such as working and driving while enjoying the benefits above. Everybody is different, so if you’re wondering if CBD oil can alleviate your issues, why not give it a go?

  • In all honesty I can’t smoke regular bud no more it gets me too paranoid, plus I’m off-point u can definitely tell I’m high lol. I stopped smoking for about 5 months, found this site and gave it a try as I was reading up on CBD effects & I couldn’t stand the taste of smoking cigarettes no more. I was hesitant of ordering from here as you would be the first time. I got 1g of Vanilla Kush in the end to see if it would actually come. It did. I think about 2 days after, if that. (this was before corona) so it may take longer nowdays. But I was mad happy when it came I’m not gonna lie. In the end I made 3 zoot out of the gram, 1 0.4 & 2 0.3s (I weighed it don’t judge me). Then I smoked my first zoot after 5 months hoping I wouldn’t start buggin out and witey in this field I was at, as I was by myself and no one would have seen me apart from a dog walker which is kinda funny thinking of it lol. But back to being serious. Half way through smoking I felt effects. You know the feeling when you’ve had a longgg day out and u get to go home sit down and finally chill. Or the after sex feeling with that smile of relief (sorry you virgins won’t get this one lol). I felt smooth, relaxed, motivated, slightly creative, happy plus more. It might sound crazy to you, but I’m sure I felt the neurons in my brain connecting, being stimulated or activating like in the film ‘Limitless’ if you’ve seen it. Although it hasn’t made me rich yet, but at least I won’t get the random blackouts like he does.
